Please note that there will be no classes during the week October 3rd to October 9th. The Academy will be closed for that week. Classes will resume on Monday, October 10th.

It’s a bit later than we intended, for which I apologise, but there are certain factors outside our control. However, the date for the next grading has been fixed and it’s Saturday October 22nd, from 9am till noon. The grading will be held at the Kiama Masonic Hall and will cost $30 per person.

If you’re not sure whether or not you’re eligible to grade, please ask Sifu Alan. All those people grading will be required to register beforehand. If you are eligible to grade but can’t make that date, please talk to Sifu Alan asap and we’ll make alternative arrangements for you.

Remember, you don’t have to grade until you’re ready – there’s no rush. Knowing your stuff is more important than rushing through grades. For those people who do want to grade, you now have five weeks to hone your skills!
