It will be a bbq/picnic in Centennial Park from 11am until 2pm. If there’s rain, it will be at the Sydney school on Goulburn Street. All Kung Fu and Qi Gong students and their friends and families are welcome to attend. If you can make it up, let me know and I’ll try to help with some car pooling options. A local Xmas dinner for our own school will be organised for the last week of the year, probably at the Thai place over the road, but I will confirm details later. If you’re keen (all Kung Fu and Qi Gong students are welcome to come along) please let me know. Fees Please remember that membership fees for the year will be payable once classes resume in 2019. These will remain at $75 per person, payable before the end of February, please. Class costs will remain the same for the time being. That’s it for now. Please help us spread the word about our classes by telling family, friends, colleagues and class mates. Word of mouth is the best advertising we can get. It’s been an honour and an absolute pleasure to teach and train with you all during 2018, and we still have a few weeks left. We look forward to an even better year in 2019. All the best, happy Xmas and New Year. Alan and Halinka.

We have heard on a number of occasions that people can be a little overwhelmed with how much content there is in our qi gong class, particularly for new beginners. We’ve listened to this feedback, and we’re making the following changes to classes to better accommodate all levels of learning. If you are a student already, you can continue coming at the same times you always have and will see no significant change to class. Beginners will be encouraged to start earlier with the first hour of class. Any questions, please give me a call on 0414 445 579 or email [email protected] Here are the changes: From now on, classes will start half an hour earlier, and the first half hour will cover basics and introductory exercises with a more hands-on teaching style. The rest of the class will follow the existing format. Therefore, new beginners can come for the first hour, more experienced people can start half an hour later (at the same time they are currently used to) and stay for the rest of the class. Of course, if people are keen to do more, then beginners are welcome to stay for the entire class, and experienced students are welcome to come earlier and do the extra training. So qi gong classes will now be as follows: Monday: 9.00am to 9.30 – Beginners – basic exercises and 18 Lohan short form (Dragon, Tiger and Crane). 9.30 to 10.00 – Regular class – warm-up, basic exercises, full 18 Lohan form. 10.00 – 10.30 – San Jiao exercise, Siu Lohan, Dai Gik Kuen. Thursday: 5.30pm to 6.00 – Beginners – basic exercises and 18 Lohan short form (Dragon, Tiger and Crane). 6.00 to 6.30 – Regular class – warm-up, basic exercises, full 18 Lohan form. 6.30 – 7.00 – San Jiao exercise, Siu Lohan, Dai Gik Kuen. Classes will probably run a little later than the above times most days. If you are a student already, you can continue coming at the same times you always have and will see no significant change to class. Beginners will be encouraged to start with the first hour of...
